Vikings Defeated by Uniondale, 58-34

Port Washington Vikings fall to reigning county champs, Uniondale.

Even after a valiant effort, the Vikings failed to pull off a win against reigning county champs, Uniondale.

Port Washington's Dan Bernstein posted 12 points and Ethan Sander had 11 points, while Goey Charles led Uniondale with 18 points.

"We played pretty good defense in the first half, but struggled to make open shots on the offensive end which put us behind early and we could never catch up," Coach Sean Dooley said. "They are a very talented and physical team, and they play well together."

The Vikings next game is Monday, Jan. 11, at 6:15 p.m. at Valley Stream Central High School.
