Chef Matthew Hisiger Brings Coastal Supper Club to H on The Harbor

The Port Washington catering venue is launching the new supper club this week.

Chef Matthew Hisiger, formerly chef-owner of the famed Huntington Station-based Panama Hatties, is now culinary director at H on The Harbor, a catering and event space in Port Washington. 

His arrival brings to the venue new offerings: the H Supper Club, serving up an "experience for the senses." 

The club provides a culinary tour featuring coastal cuisines from four distinct regions of Europe and Asia. On the menu are hors d’oeuvres and four courses, paired with accompanying wine and beer.

Hisiger is at the helm guiding food-lovers through a specific coastal city each week.  

First up is the coastal cuisine of Sicily on Wednesday, July 9, which is already sold out, and Thursday, July 10.

This menu includes:

  • Grilled Eggplant Capotina
  • Taratella Pasta with Almond Pesto
  • Braised Short Rib with Espresso Rub
  • Roast Sword Fish ala Nonna
  • Rocket Blood Orange and Fennel Salad
  • Selection of Cheese and Sweets

Also in July, the club will explore the following coastal cuisines:

  • Vietnam + Cambodia- July 16, 17
  • Marbella-Lisbon- July 23, 24
  • Cote D’Azur/France- July 30, 31
