Boating Season Is on The Horizon

Nautical notes on Port's waterfront.

Spring is officially here but winter still has a hold on the region, and the boats in Port Washington's harbor are still under wraps. When will the moment of change finally come? Only moody Mother Nature knows for sure. Yet, the boating season is already on the minds of nautical enthusiasts who look forward to all that Port's waterfront has to offer.

Kayak adventures and boat tours of Manhasset Bay's historic coastline are just some of the courses offered in the  Continuing Education program – so check for availability. Can't attend any of the classes? Then consider signing up for a cruise or perhaps kayaklessons.

Now is also a good time to look into the newest marine  navigation electronics and shop for a kayak or a prime new or preowned boat in town.
