Ron's presentation will cover his extensive Manhasset Bay and Long Island Sound knowledge accumulated over 30 years-plus as a sailor, racer, fisherman, kayaker and power boater which he has successfully applied to racing and his own activities on the water. Applying his experience and using charts of the Bay and Sound, Ron will point out geography, topography, weather, wind, tide, current, features, their interaction and nuances and tips specific for anyone who enjoys the outdoors on the Bay and Long Island Sound areas.
