Port Washington Defeats St. Dominic 24-9

The Vikings triumph at homecoming.

Port Washington's quarterback James Burns threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings defeated St. Dominic, 24-9 in a non-conference game at Schreiber High School Saturday. 

On the receiving end of two of those touchdowns was Matt Siegal, who caught three passes for 66 yards.

Port Washington (3-1) led 12-3 at halftime and then played strong defense in the second half to hold off the BayHawks, whose record falls to 0-4. Port's benefited from some late turnovers and pulled ahead in the second half.

The Vikings play Great Neck South Saturday at Roslyn on Saturday.
