PYA 2nd Grade Boys Lacrosse Defeats Syosset

The season ends June 3 at Lions Field.

The PYA () 2nd grade Blue Lacrosse team won their fourth game of the season Sunday in Syosset, defeating Syosset White by a score of 9-3. The little Vikings record now stands at 4-1 on the season.

The offense averages just under 10 goals a game with Christo Freitas and Henry Haberman leading the way. Following right behind in scoring are Matt Freeman, Kevin Taylor, Matt DeLeonardis and Chris Carillo. The defense has been anchored by Sean Jacobs, Dante DeBuris and Andrew Avazis with Alex Esposito making a couple of great stands.

Playing well in goal all season has been a rotation of Brandon Farahan, Kevin Taylor, Alex Esposito and Nicholas Valente. Steven Blasucci, Davis Choi, Luke DePalma, Joe Scandalios and Aidan Thomas round out a roster that has played well all season to help the team off to a great start.
