We're not talking sharks. We're talking water temperature.
The water temperature of Long Island Sound on Saturday was 59 degrees off Bayville Beach, according to the National Data Buoy Center. The Atlantic Ocean off of Long Beach and Jones Beach was recorded at 61 degrees, the NDBC said.
