Schreiber Track & Field Competes at Class A Championship
Boys team finishes in 12th place while girls finish in 13th.
The Schreiber High School boys and girls track & field teams recently competed in the Nassau County High School Class A Track & Field Championship at Suffolk Community College's Brentwood campus.
The boys team finished in 12th place out of 15 teams with Calhoun taking down the Nassau County Class A title. The Vikings' best finish was Jacob Levine's second place in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:40.58; Elmont's Angelo Melendez finished first in a time of 2:39.76. On the girls' side, Garden City took down the title while Schreiber's team finished in 13th out of 13 teams competing at the championships.
