Sports Roundup: Schreiber Girls Soccer Off to Fast Start

After one week of high school sports action, the Schreiber girls soccer team remains unbeaten in conference play after an impressive start to the 2013 season.

With wins over Great Neck South and Roslyn along with a scoreless tie against Hicksville the Vikings are off to a fast start early on, sitting at the top of the Nassau Conference AA-II with a 1-0-1 conference record (2-1-1 overall).

First week star performers include Olivia Fetherston with four goals and goalie Michelle Lammers. 

Schreiber football opened the season with a dominating 35-6 win over Long Island Lutheran on Sept. 12.
