All eyes will be watching Thursday's noon World Cup matchup, when the U.S. takes on Germany. We've provided a roundup of some of the best spots in town to watch the game. And just a heads up: if you're watching the game at a local sports bar, you might want to sneak out for lunch a little early, as places might reach max capacity before game time.

Here are just some of our top picks:

Sullivan’s Quay

541 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington

While you’re there: Enjoy $5 pint of Guinness, a special this month as the pub celebrates its tenth anniversary. Perfect with a round of appetizers – the fried pickles and cheese quesadillas are popular favorites.

Sip City

16 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck

This popular spot always attracts a crowd at game time. While you’re there, try the chicken satay and the fish tacos. And the vegetarian in you may find the spinach artichoke dip and crisp tortilla irresistible. All for under $12.

REVEL Restaurant & Bar

835 Franklin Avenue, Garden City

REVEL is celebrating the 2014 FIFA World Cup from beginning to end. Far bites menu and cocktail list will be available for 15-percent off during games; all being shown on the 10-foot screen behind the bar. Mixologist, Jessica Liberto, will be crafting specialty cocktails representing the playing teams for $5 each. Bar bites include:Sheep’s Milk Ricotta Crostini $8 with truffle honey, chives; Wings $10 with Korean spices, sesame aioli; roasted Brussels sprouts $8 with cherries, juniper honey, pecorino, and more.
