The team now qualifies for New York State Championship

Port Washington's boys cross country team won the Nassau County Championship on Saturday at Bethpage State Park, according to Coach Jeremy Klaff. Taylor Titcomb was the Class AA Champion. Winners of All County honors include Titcomb, Sid Kakkar, Ryan Schwartz and Leo Potters. James Gallagher, Shoki Yamada, and Jackson Lathrop were also on the team. The team qualifies for the New York State Championship, which will be held upstate near Utica next week. This is the fourth county-class championship in five years for the team.
