Manhasset Bay was dotted with kayaking enthusiasts who turned out for the Kayak Run 2012 on Saturday. 

Sponsors of this event include the , The , Atlantic Outfitters, and the  Department of Community Services. 

All of the proceeds go to the and its 24 member agencies, serving the people of Port Washington. In total, there were 76 participants and 52 boats. No word yet on how much money was raised.
