Manorhaven Park Concert Cancelled
Concert was to feature Orleans, whose lead singer Larry Hoppen died Tuesday.
The Friday concert at Manorhaven Beach Park featuring Orleans has been cancelled due to the passing of the lead singer Larry Hoppen, a North Hempstead spokesman said.
Hoppen is remembered as the voice behind Orleans' hits such as “Dance With Me” and “You’re Still The One.” He died Tuesday at the age of 61, according to the website larryhoppen.com.
