Sands Point Real Estate, The Buyer's Rep. Buy Now or Wait?

Ask The Buyer’s Rep:  “Should I buy a home now, or wait until March/April 2014?”  The inventory is low in December 2013, but much higher than it was in December 2012.  Remember this; “you’re only looking for one house,” if you do find that “one particular property” that meets your specific criteria, buy it Now!

Since March 2013, property values have steadily increased month over month.  In December 2013, we’ve reached a plateau, where the property values are stable and not expected to rise until February 2014; they are projected to rise 5-7% in the Port Washington, Sands Point area during the “2014 Seller’s Market;” that’s a small window of opportunity.  This is the time where you can view properties, stark; all of the negatives are very visible, enabling you to negotiate your best price.  Additionally, since most of the inventory has been on the market for more than 30 days, you can avoid the inevitable bidding wars to come.  The other obvious incentive is that the Mortgage Interest Rates remain historically low; they are also projected to rise for the “2014 Seller’s Market.” Been pre-approved yet? No problem, I can help.
