Scary Good Halloween Fundraiser for PW Crisis Relief Team

November 1 event raises $2,000 for charity.

A recent post-Halloween fundraising party sponsored by the Port Washington Crisis Relief Team was overflowing with vampires, Kardashians, hippies and donations totaling $2,000, according to event organizers.

Entrance fees and a silent auction were held during the Nov. 1 event which raised funds to support PWCRT initiatives, all of which are focused exclusively in Port Washington.

Event organizers included: Randy Shain, Gail Seiden, Joe Cohen and creative director, Michelle Shain.

"Thanks also go to all attendees, contributors of auction items and individual donors. Special thanks to PWCRT leaders Rob Seiden, Viv Moy and Debbie Greco Cohen, Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington, Gary Cohen and friends, The Training Station, Hugh Colocott, Jon Liegey, Joe and Marion Cohen, Greenport Harbor Brewery, Heidi and Dave Jarach, Ayhan’s Mediterranean Marketplace, Debbie and Jack Mishan, Chris Nadolne, Shari and Rob Shedrosfky, Robin Sigman and Jane Walsh," said the PWCRT in a press release.

At the event, Suzanne and Peter Grabiner won $700 in a 50/50 raffle then donated their winnings back the PWCRT.
