Wink Attends Conference on Aging in Place

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) attended the Aging in Place in Suburbia: Living Better with Technology Conference & Expo at the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury on Wednesday, August 21. The well-attended event provided information on innovations in technology that will enhance the lives of the growing numbers of aging residents who wish to remain in their own homes as they grow older. The Town of North Hempstead’s Project Independence, the National Center for Suburban Studies at Hofstra and North Shore-LIJ Health Systems jointly sponsored the conference.
