Friday's theme is 'Roadtrip,' featuring works by Robert Sheldon, John Williams, Sousa, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, among others.

The Port Washington Summer Community Band performs Friday at the John Philip Sousa Bandshell at Sunset Park in Port Washington at 8:15 p.m.

Friday's theme is Roadtrip, featuring music from all over the United States, said band director Aaron Prindle.

The band will feature works by Robert Sheldon, John Williams, Sousa, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, among others. Performing Friday as well is Nate Krantz and some of the chorus from the Port Summer Show, which this year is presenting "Urinetown" Aug. 7-10.

While the bandshell will offer free concerts on Fridays throughout August, July 25 is the Port Washington Summer Community Band's final concert for the season.
