See pianist Michael Brown perform selections from Beethoven, Schubert, Copland and others. Brown performed at Alice Tully Hall as a soloist with the Juiliard Orchestra under New York Philharmonic Music Director Alan Gilbert and in a solo recital as winner of the 2012 Juilliard William Petschek Piano Debut Recital Award. Open mic night, hosted by I.A.M. (Immigrant Advancement Matters). This Flushing-based nonprofit supports the immigrant community through educational, legal and personal advancement programs that encourage integration into American society. The Opera de Paris presents a new production of Giuseppe Verdi’s final opera,  "Falstaff,' a comedy about the penniless, portly old knight who gets tricked - repeatedly - by the young ladies who rebuff his romantic overtures.
