Port Washington Public Schools

<p>The Port Washington Union Free School District is made up of seven schools -- five elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. It also has a pre-kindergarten program.</p> <p>The district offers students a broad range of learning opportunities from computer technology and creative arts to physical education and health.</p> <p>With a staff dedicated to encouraging students to reach their potential and enhance their talents, all of its schools meet the New York State learning standards and assessments.</p> <p>Dr. Geoffrey Gordon retired as superintendent of Port Washington Union Free School District in July 2012, and had served the district since September 2002.</p> <p>Dr. Kathleen Mooney is currently serving as the district's interim superintendent.</p>
