Teach and Tumble Daycare, Inc. is Port Washington's new option for high quality child care. The pre-school's goal is to help the community and working parents find quality care for their children.
 
Teach and Tumble Daycare's Philosophy:
We believe that every child deserves lots of attention, love, and guidance. We also recognize that in each little body is a very special, one-of-a-kind personality. That's why we offer so many ways for them to grow. Our safe environment makes it easy for your little person to explore with confidence. Our group activities encourage cooperative learning and teamwork. Self-esteem and confidence are boosted through independent play and puzzles. The children help in our activity planning and all efforts are rewarded with positive reinforcement.

We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.

Every day has morning circle time, story time, nutritious snacks, arts & crafts, nap time, and endless affection. The pre-school recognizes that parents have a difficult schedule and support them the best they can. Teach and Tumble offers early drop-off and late pick-up so that schedules can be accommodated.

Teach and Tumble Daycare offers activities that help the social and academic development of children. They include: singing, dancing, reading, free play, outdoor play, counting, social development, story time, games and puzzles, large and fine motor skill development, circle time, cooking/baking, letter recognition, character building activities, language play, emotion identification and community awarenes.
