I waited an hour and a half after reporting a traffic accident on Norhtern Boulevard on April 19th…Read More and a police officer never arrived. After 4 phone calls and rudeness from the desk officer the other driver and I just exchanged information and left. Perhaps if we had remained on the road blocking traffic at 6:00pm we would have gotten a better response but our cars were driveable and we tried to be considerate and we pulled off the road. Considering Nassau County residents pay some of the highest taxes in the country and we have a very highly paid police department, this response was abysmal. I guess I am spoiled by our wonderful Port Washington Police District.
