As an entertainment editor I used to write book and movie reviews for magazines (Seventeen, More). Now, as a stay-at-home mom in Port Washington I write for a much smaller--and I mean smaller--audience, my toddler twins.

I write "Dear Babies: Crazy Life, Simply Explained," a blog of daily letters to them that read like mini-essays telling of life like it is: Messy, thrilling, scary, wonderful. Sometimes poignant, sometimes laugh-out-loud, these lessons to my children often leave me wondering just who is teaching whom. (See also www.amydenby.com.)
