I was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I've spent over thirty-five years in the real estate and construction industry, including several in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The desire to write first hit me at the age of fourteen while passing my first summer in a new home on Long Island. In the late 1990's, I founded the Institute for Marine Archaeology in answer to a passion second only to writing. My first completed novel, Flashback, a science fiction thriller, was inspired by my participation on the initial attempt to excavate an ancient shipwreck off the coast of Africa. I hope to release it the future. My second novel, Alfheim, a young adult urban fantasy, was written as a thesis for the MFA in Fiction program at Southern New Hampshire University and was awarded the Robert J. Begiebing Prize for a work with high literary promise. It's currently on the rounds for seeking agent representation and/or a publisher. I currently live with my family and two Old English Sheepdogs in Port Washington on Long Island's North Shore and am working on the sequels to my first two novels.
