LIRR Adds Extra Trains For NYC Super Bowl Attraction

Extra trains to help fans enjoy Super Bowl Boulevard experience in Manhattan.

To help fans get to and from Super Bowl-related events, the Long Island Rail Road will augment Port Washington Branch service to and from Penn Station from Jan. 29 until Feb. 1.

The Port Washington Branch will add three extra Penn Station-bound trains to depart Great Neck daily between 4:25 p.m. and 6:04 p.m. during the week leading up to the game.

The LIRR is adding the extra late afternoon and evening trains to help football fans who want to be part of the Super Bowl Boulevard experience, which will feature many fan interactive experiences on Broadway from 34th Street to 47th Street in Manhattan from noon to 10 p.m. starting Wednesday, Jan. 29.
