Main Street Store Plans One Year Anniversary Celebration

November 2 event planned in Port Washington.

Digmi Nation is inviting the pubic to celebrate its upcoming one-year anniversary in Port Washington next month. 

The store announced plans for a Nov. 2 red carpet entrance, DJ, photo booth and giveaways at its location at 114 Main St. Event sponsors Red Bull and Starbucks will also be on hand with additional promotional merchandise.

Ray "Digmi" Navarette, co-founder and owner of Digmi, said the business is excited to be celebrating their first year in Port Washington.

“Being here in the heart of downtown has been great," said Digmi. "We have been able to form relationships with other local business owners and the community has really embraced us."

Founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2004, Digmi is a street wear brand which appeals to a broad range of individuals and styles.

Navarette spent 14 years in minor league baseball, including time with the Long Island Ducks. The Port Washington resident said he's looking forward to growing his business.

“Now that my playing career is over, I am looking forward to putting 100 percent of my energy into DIGMI,” said Digmi.
