Crime Report: $6750 Lifted From Cash Register

The following information was supplied by the Port Washington Police District:

Police are searching for a suspect who they say removed $6750 from a cash register at the Shell Station located at 601 Port Washington Blvd. The incident occurred June 5 at 12:20 p.m, according to police.

Windows were smashed and multiple items were stolen from two separate vehicles parked at 73 Carlton Ave. and 34 Bayviiew Ave. in Port Washington on June 4 between 6:10 and 9:41 a.m., cops say.

A Baldwin man was placed under arrest for multiple traffic offenses and possession of marijuana after being pulled over on Baldwin Avenue June 4 at 11:19 p.m. A passenger in the vehicle from Uniondale man was charged with possession of marijuana.
