MAKING LOCAL WATERWAYS MORE ACCESSIBLE
Kathy Eiseman, AICP, whose firm has been hired by the Town of North Hempstead to create a Blueway Trail connecting Little Neck Bay, Manhasset Bay and Hempstead Harbor, will present the plan and seek input from the attendees. She will be speaking at the Port Washington Public Library (top floor Hagedorn Room), on Tuesday, September 17th at 7:30 PM.
The purpose of the Blueway Trail is to make our Town's waterways more accessible, especially to non-motorized watercraft. It is also to help further create both educational and recreational opportunities within the Town of North Hempstead, on our local waterways.
Ms. Eiseman will be speaking at the North Shore Kayak Club's monthly meeting, which is open to the general public. For further information, please contact (917) 400-7041.
