Lots of Returning Girls Soccer Talent For Schreiber in 2013

Coming off a playoff appearance last year, the Schreiber High School girls soccer team is working hard preparing for the 2013 season.

That's the word from the practice field this week from girls soccer Head Coach Lauren Bishar who gave preview of the new team.

"We are looking forward to a really good season this year, we have a lot of good returners, a lot of young players coming in," said Bishar, returning for her sixth year as coach in Port Washington.

Bishar said the team consists of a great group of girls that really enjoy playing soccer and really want to learn and get better each year.

After a scrimmage Saturday, the team opens the season Monday in a 4:30 p.m. home game against non-league opponent, Wellington C. Mepham High School.
