Pajama Program Visits Daly Elementary School

Prekindergarten students at Daly Elementary School were recently visited by members of the Pajama Program, a nonprofit organization that provides new sleepwear and nurturing books to children in need nationwide.

The program brought a variety of pajamas and new books to 72 pre-K students at the school. Jamie Nolan, the district’s data management administrator, played a major role in bringing the Pajama Program to the school.

“The children were extremely excited and enthusiastic,” said Nolan, who said one of the goals of the visit was to promote literacy and learning among the children by supplying them with books. “And it was a wonderful experience to have the program here at Daly Elementary School.”
