What does it mean to be Jewish?  Three generations of the Rashevski family grapple with the question, after the death of Rose, the secular matriarch who believed that the tango would make all troubles disappear. Charming and endearing, the characters confront issues of relationships, family, religion, love, romance, an interfaith marriage.

Bring a bag lunch and we’ll provide the coffee and tea. Come at 11 a.m. for an informational/organizational meeting prior to the movie.

Chaverim, a group which will present programs of interest to the senior members of our congregation and the community, was recently started at The Community Synagogue.  Co-chairs of Chaverim are Janet deWinter, Gloria Glantz and Evie Schonbrun.  All members of the community are welcome.
