Of Birdies, Balcourt and Board Meetings

Doings in Port Washington.

1. The spate of dry weather is expected to continue at least through today, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 45. West wind around 6 mph. After today, the
weather will turn wet toward the end of the week.

2. The , 80 Manorhaven Blvd.,  will be the place for an art class presented by Ed Balcourt. ‘Escalate Your Art’ will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon.  The class is free for members; membership is $15 for the year. Call 516-883-6656 for information.

3. The Port Washington girls badminton team opens its 12-match season today at 4:30 p.m. with a home contest against Great Neck North.

4. A library board meeting and information session will be held tonight beginning at 7 p.m. in the local history room of the . Meet
the Candidates’ Night takes place at 7:30 p.m. in the Lapham Meeting Room.
