It had been raining steadily all day in Port Washington and most of the snow was finally washed away. Midnight was near and there was slick pavement everywhere. Lamppost, traffic and store lights reflected sparkling neon images on the streets. Jet black water and skies added drama and shadows that are not visible in daylight. Shop and restaurant windows played a part in this rainy landscape.
