PWPL to Celebrate 50 Years of Doctor Who

Author scheduled for Jan. 13 discussion at library.

Author, editor, speaker and hepcat Clive Young will be appearing in Port Washington next week.

The Port Washington Library will welcome Young Jan. 13 for a discussion of the the sci-fi phenomenon Doctor Who, which has run for an 50 years on the BBC.
Throughout the decades, the time-traveling doctor has been portrayed by William Hartnell (1963-66), Patrick Troughton (1966-69), Jon Pertwee (1970-74), Tom Baker (1974-81), Peter Davison (1981-84), Colin Baker (1984-86), Sylvester McCoy (1987-89), Paul McGann (1996), Christopher Eccleston (2005), David Tennant (2006-10) and Matt Smith (2010-present).

Young is the author of Crank It Up: Live Sound Secrets of the Top Four Tour Managers and Homemade Hollywood: Fans Behind the Camera, and editor of Pro Sound NewsPro Audio Review and ProSoundNetwork.com.
