Celebrate the warmth of the season at the Town of North Hempstead-sponsored holiday day party on Dec. 18.
The Project Independence event runs from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park.
The party will include music, dancing, dessert and holiday cheer. Call 311 to RSVP.
Project Independence, is a program of the Town of North Hempstead's Department of Services for the Aging to assist and enable aging residents of the Town to remain in their own homes and familiar surroundings as they grow older, if this is their choice. This multi-service initiative involves coordination with many community partners.
