Environmental Education is a cornerstone of Residents For A More Beautiful Port Washington.   Each year we expand our enrichment programs both in the classroom and on the weekends so parents can enjoy these experiences with their children, leading to greater discussion and dialogue at home.   Our programs foster a deep appreciation of nature as well as an understanding of the role humans play in our precious and fragile ecosystems.

Don't miss this hands-on, minds-on journey though Port's history and diverse natural habitats.  We thank our partners for joining with us to create The Port Nature and History Fest:  Port Washington Public Library, Friends of the Library (FOL), PW Green, Sandminers Monument Association, NS Audubon Society, Manhasset Bay Protection Committee, and the Cow Neck Historical Society.
