Tonight: Sutter's Soul Music

Alexis P. Sutter Band plays at Port Washington library at 8 p.m.

The Alexis P. Sutter Band performs at the Port Washington Library as part of their popular SoundSwap series.

The Dec. 13 performance is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Sutter Band opened the show at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble in Woodstock more than 90 times, and, as openers for The Levon Helm Band, they played to sold-out audiences at the Beacon Theater, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, N.J. and Central Park’s Summerstage.

Sutter was nominated for Best Soul Blues Female Artist at the 33rd Annual Blues Music Awards held in Memphis.

This event is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
