Be the Best Sport is hosting a Bowling Fundraiser this Saturday June 1, 2013 at Sheridan Lanes located off of Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, NY. The cost of admission is 30$ a person and that includes shoes and all you can bowl from 8am-11am. All the proceeds will go to “Be the Best Sport” program. This is a great chance to be a part of a great cause and have fun doing it. About “Be the Best Sport” Be The Best Sport is focused on the athletic development of children with special needs. Our mission is to create and provide fun and exciting programs for children with special needs ages 18 and younger; such programs will offer recreational sports as well as music and art activities for the children and their families. Through these efforts, Be The Best Sport seeks to help alleviate the emotional stresses and financial burdens felt by parents of children with special needs; to share with children with special needs and their families, the benefits that participation in recreational sports and art programs can provide.
