VIDEO: Cell Tower Not Popular Among Residents

Locals marched from Manorhaven Park to Manhasset Isle, protesting a controversial cell tower.

On Sunday, Port Washington residents participated in an organized march to show their disapproval for the which is currently located at 41 Pequot Avenue.

Originally, the tower was issued a , but two years later  after a U.S. district judge ordered the village to take action within 10 days. 

Now residents are concerned with the to homes and offer an alternative solution. Execution Rock is located approximately one-and-a-half miles off the shores of and the residents think this is a much safer home for the cell tower.
