Video: Mookie Wilson, Mets Fans Speak on Visit to Roslyn

Fans thrilled to meet one of their favorite Mets.

Former New York Mets player Mookie Wilson was in Roslyn this past weekend to help celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Meat House. Wilson was a centerfielder and part of the 1986 World Series team. Mets fans eagerly lined up to get various sports memorabilia signed and meet one of their favorite athletes, eager to meet Mookie in person.

After signing autographs and talking with his fans, Wilson headed into the kitchen to showcase his cooking skills and prepare his own recipe for macaroni casserole and a chicken dish to share with the Meat House visitors.
