The first night of Hanukah is Tuesday, Dec. 20. Just like Jewish children all over the globe, youngsters at the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore enjoy learning about the traditions of the festival. They are counting the days until it arrives when the first of eight candles on the menorah will be lit.
