Town Fireworks Extravaganza Rained Out in Port Washington
Soggy weather forces postponement of annual event at North Hempstead Beach Park.
Due to inclement weather, the Town of North Hempstead Fireworks Commemoration Extravaganza scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2013, at North Hempstead Beach Park has been cancelled, according to town officials.
Scheduled to appear was the United States Marine Corps Color Guard, Nassau County Police Pipe Band, and the Volunteers of America firing detail to commemorate fallen service members.
