Presentation on Nassau County Potential Redistricting

The Sands Point Civic Association and the League of Women Voters will hold a community-wide presentation by the Nassau Redistricting Coalition and the League of Women Voters on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Community Synagogue, 160 Middle Neck Road in Port Washington.  


The presenters include Legislator Wayne Wink, Legislator Judy Bosworth, Commissioner Matthew Kiernan, and Barbara Epstein, Co-Chair of the Nassau County League of Women Voters and member of the Nassau Redistricting Coalition. Kay Ullman will be the moderator.


The program will consist of a power point presentation and explanation of the process; gathered data will be shared as well as the proposed "map."  What will be its impact on legislative representation in Nassau County?  A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
