The Business of Art Free Breakfast Seminar
Executive Director of the Great Neck Arts Center Featured Speaker at Unique Art/Business Seminar
Regina Gil, E.D. of the Great Neck Arts Center , will be a featured speaker at a unique seminar entitled “The Business of Art” on August 8, 2013 at the Amsterdam at Harborside in Port Washington. Ms. Gil will speak on “Art as a Community Revitalization Tool.” Also featured will be Heckscher Museum CEO/Director Dr. Michael Schantz and Huntington based Art League of LI CEO Charlee Miller.
Dr. Schantz will speak on “The Business of Museums - Their Impact on Communities’ Economic Development.” Ms. Miller will speak on “Art as a Marketing Tool for Business.”

The seminar is a unique collaboration of government, business, not for profits and art. It is part of a weeklong exhibit of fine art paintings by Long Island painter Ruth Poniarski.
