The Port Washington Parks Conservancy and the Nassau County Department of Public Works will preview the final plans of the rehabilitation of Stannards Brook Park on Carlton Avenue.
The internationally known landscape architect, Geoffrey Roesch, will give a power-point presentation. Given the presence of a natural water course, diverse and interesting topography, native vegetation and wildlife, the 3-acre neighborhood park is a unique and valuable resource for the Port community.
