Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food

Is an annual event where the Scouts from Pack 77 and Venture Crew 556 seek donations of food to stock food pantries in town and on Long Island.  This year we are donating all food collected to United Methodist Church's Interfaith Food Initiative and to St. Peters' food pantry.

The boys and girls (Venturing is Co-ed) will  be collecting food outside Stop and Shop and King Kullen this Saturday March 12th between the hours of 9AM and 3 PM.  Please stop by and donate a non-perishable food item.

Last year Port Washington's scouts collected more than 5000 pounds of food for Long Island's hungry.
