A would-be burglar kicked in a Manhasset home's door before fleeing, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives said a 75-year-old woman was in her Chapel Road home one evening when she said she heard a loud noise. She went downstairs to find the front door of the house kicked in, cops said. The subject reportedly fled west on Chapel Road on foot without any proceeds.
No one was injured in the incident.
Cops said the attempted burglary happened at 6:38 p.m. Friday.
