Felony Report: Grand Larceny; Identity Fraud

Recent Port Washington police activity.

The following information is taken directly from the latest felony report from the Port Washington Police District.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints in the report are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Recent police activity:

  • A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance Nov. 19 at 12:17 a.m. on Shore Rd. 
  • Police are investigating a grand larceny that occurred Nov. 20 at 2:07 p.m. on Reid Ave. after a man reported that a watch had been stolen from his home.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested for multiple motor vehicle offenses on Mackay Avenue at 2:35 p.m. on Nov. 20.
  • A Port Washington man was placed under arrest Nov. 20 after a domestic incident on Bayview Avenue at 8:34 p.m.
  • Police are investigating an identity fraud case on Cross Street after a female victim reported an unknown person(s) made an unauthorized purchase from her checking account on Nov. 22.
