None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints in the report are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
Recent police activity:
- A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance Nov. 19 at 12:17 a.m. on Shore Rd.
- Police are investigating a grand larceny that occurred Nov. 20 at 2:07 p.m. on Reid Ave. after a man reported that a watch had been stolen from his home.
- A Port Washington man was arrested for multiple motor vehicle offenses on Mackay Avenue at 2:35 p.m. on Nov. 20.
- A Port Washington man was placed under arrest Nov. 20 after a domestic incident on Bayview Avenue at 8:34 p.m.
- Police are investigating an identity fraud case on Cross Street after a female victim reported an unknown person(s) made an unauthorized purchase from her checking account on Nov. 22.
