PWPD Crime Report: March 29 - April 4

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington Police District over the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

  • A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and an open warrant on Port Washington Boulevard on March 30.

  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons damaged their flower pots at 22 Central Drive on March 29. Police are currently performing a local investigation pertaining to the alleged criminal mischief.
  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons allegedly used her information to open a Comcast account on April 1. This incident is under investigation.
  • A complainant reported that an unknown person struck him in the head and stole a bag containing $24,000 at 6 Belleview Ave. on April 1. Police are currently performing a local investigation pertaining to the alleged robbery.
  • A complainant reported a damaged window at 109 Main St. on April 2. A local investigation of the incident is currently underway.
