Village Elections on Tuesday

Manorhaven and Sands Point are holding elections.

The villages of and  are each holding elections Tuesday. The polls will be open from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. in Manorhaven, and 12-9 p.m. in Sands Point. 

In Manorhaven, incumbent Mayor John Di Leo is running with the Manorhaven Residents Party, with Jim Avena and Julian Auquilla as trustees. They are opposed by the Manorhaven Revial Party, with Giovanna Giunta running for mayor, and Noelle Smith and Mark Lazarovic for trustees. 

In Sands Point, the election is uncontested this year, with Daniel Scheyer and Lynn R. Najman each running for trustee.
