Tax Exemption Workshop Planned For Port

The Nassau County Department of Assessments will sponsor a property tax exemption outreach workshop in Port Washington later this month.

Equipped with specially configured computers linked to the county’s database, county staff will process property tax exemption applications on site. 

The workshop runs from 1-3 p.m. on July 31 at the Port Washington Library, One Library Drive.  The event is open to all residents of the 11th Legislative District.  

Veterans, senior citizens, volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers, those with limited income disability and home improvement questions have been  encouraged to attend by county representatives.
